Can I drink coffee or tea with SmileFix?
You absolutely can, just be cautious of staining over time just like with your regular teeth.
How can I get a tighter fit?
To get a tighter fit, use suction while forming your repairs and also consider using the teeth around your repair as anchor points to hold the repair into place with as well.
How long should my repair last?
This really depends on how often you wear your repair. We recommend replacing your repair every 60 to 90 days for sanitary reasons but we have had customers and had testers who had single repairs last well over a year without any issues.
How Should I clean my repair?
Just brush it like your teeth or use a denture soaking tablet.
Can I make a repair over multiple teeth?
Yes, you can easily make repairs for multiple teeth. Thousands of customers have made their own partial dentures with SmileFix. Just be sure to use enough material and to anchor the repair with stable teeth that are around the repair being made.
My repair feels loose, can I do anything?
Yes, use suction or anchor points while forming your repair. If you still need more support then use a denture adhesive. The strips can be cut up and work really well!
Can I eat with Smilefix?
Yes, you can however we don’t recommend it. Thousands of our customers eat with SmileFix every day, please be aware that when you eat with your repair that you want to make sure that you have a really snug, tight-fitting repair that won’t come out. Also remember that you will put wear on the repair as you eat more and more. If you get a rough texture on the surface of the repair from eating just clean it really well and dip it into hot water to re activate the material and to get your repair nice and smooth again.
Can I use SmileFix over a broken tooth?
Yes, this is one place SmileFix shines, you can easily cover up and protect a broken tooth with SmileFix.
Can I sleep with SmileFix?
We absolutely 100% do not recommend sleeping with SmileFix at any time. It is best to store your repair in a clean container while sleeping.
